We are excited to announce our new program: ERA Global Insights.

ERA Global Insights is a free 6-week online program designed to provide global startups with valuable and practical US market knowledge.

The current situation is a unique moment for all of us, and we believe there has never been a more important time to help startups succeed. We are all already socially-distanced, so working with global startups is much the same as helping a company across town. We want to use this period as an opportunity to empower startups with strong US market insights through an online program. Great global startups that have plans to expand in the US market can now take advantage of this free program to do so.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The ERA Global Insights program is a free 6-week long, high-impact and educational online initiative that combines weekly workshops, 1-on-1 office hours and some optional assignments*.  

Startups can expect to spend an average of 4 to 5 hours per week on the program content and 1-on-1 access to the ERA Global Team.

This program is best suited for companies that already have traction in their home/existing markets and have US expansion plans. This program is primarily intended to provide valuable key insights to startups to unlock the US market, from a cultural and business perspective. The program will be entirely held in English. 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

Number of companies: ERA Global will pick 6 to 8 companies from all the applications.

Global: We are looking at companies across the world with a vision and plan to expand in the US market at some point.

Industry: Companies in our portfolio (ERA Global and ERA) are technology (software/hardware) or technology-related in some way and may be either B2B or B2C-focused. We are industry-agnostic and generally, we have worked with companies in industries such as FinTech, SaaS, Cybersecurity, Internet Of Things, Industry 4.0, MedTech, Digital Health, E-Commerce, Local, Media, Mobile, Marketing, Ad Tech, Education, Fashion Tech, Real Estate, CPG, Enterprise, HR, Logistics and many more. We evaluate each business around the product concept, business model, product-market fit for the US market and the market size. Ultimately, we want to ensure that each team we select is the right team for both business and product.   

Team: For us, it is all about people, and so we work best with strong teams that have domain expertise and a track record of execution and with high English proficiency.  

Stage: We are looking for companies with traction in their existing local market. In other words, we look for strong teams with an interest and commitment to launch their business in the US.

Workshop: Culture - Tips to interact the US way

Fireside Chat: Founder Story: Hear from one of ERA Global founders and his/her experience navigating the US market, including ways to innovate during times of crisis like this current pandemic. 

Week 3

Workshop: Raising Money in the US - Navigating the fundraising process  

Mid-program Reporting

Pitch Session

Optional 1-on-1 meeting with ERA Global Team

Week 4

Workshop: Doing Sales in the US Series - From identifying to qualifying customer leads 

Week 5

Workshop: B2B Sales Series - An overview of the Sales Process in the US.

Optional 1-on-1: 20-min touch base with ERA Global team

Week 6

End of Program Presentation: Every company will get the opportunity to give their pitch during a final presentation to a panel of judges and US market experts.
